“SANGRE JOVEN” was the second studio album by the Madrid-based heavy metal band Sobredosis, released on October 6, 1985, on the Chapa Discos label, the most prominent heavy metal label in the entire Iberian Peninsula at the time. It was produced by “Fortu” Sánchez, the lead singer of Obús, and Francisco Laguna, resulting in a top-notch album that stood shoulder-to-shoulder with the great classics of Iberian heavy metal from that era.
This album is considered a classic of 1980s Spanish metal, not only for its powerful and fast-paced sound compared to the first album, but also for its versatile sound with clear influences from classic hard rock, showcasing the band at the peak of their musical maturity and reflecting in their lyrics the reality of youth at the time, devoted to rock ‘n’ roll.
