BOBO were a Hard Rock band formed in Bradford/UK, in the early 80's, by guitarist Tim Walker and vocalist Vick (Vic) Wright. With drummer Quentin Jamieson and bassist Chris Hannan, Bobo quickly developed a raw, Hard Rock sound that sat somewhere between Free and early Van Halen - powerful and energetic. In 1984 with Vick Wright joining Tokyo Blade, it was the end of the band. Vic would later also find U.S. recognition fronting Johnny Crash with an album on ATCO records. It's not far-fetched to say that Bobo stands as one of the most underrated gems of the NWOBHM, unfairly denied wider recognition up to this day. It's time to set the record straight with this collection of songs from their only Cassette-EP, plus 5 unreleased tracks. Housed in an 8-page booklet containing rare photos and a detailed band biography, this release is an essential document for all NWOBHM fans. Audio digitally remastered from original sources.
