Zeús was a band from Barcelona that started in 1984 with Félix Bustillo "La Voss" (vocals), Francisco Heredia "Fran Facas" (guitar), Ramón Martínez "Giovanny" (guitar), José Antonio Pérez (bass) and Santiago Rovira (drums). After recording several demos, they decided to self-finance a single containing the songs 'Dama de hierro' and 'Buscando acción', recorded in the Gemma 2 studios in Barcelona, in order to make themselves known on the national rock scene. The album was released in 1983 by Justine Records, with production by Patrick Boissel.
The band undergoes several changes in its line-up with the addition of a keyboard player (Manuel Manovents), a second guitarist (Javier Puertas) and a change of drummer (Pepe Martínez),
and so they record their first and only LP, an album entitled 'V' that would see the light in 1987 through A&M Records with the songs 'Síguenos', 'Gritos en la oscuridad', 'Mucho más amor', 'Quizás no sea tarde', 'Lucifer', 'Una vez más', 'Ángel o diablo', 'Atrápalo', 'Soy fuerte' and 'Venganza'. In 1988 they disbanded. According to Bustillo, the band disbanded in 1987, after releasing the album, due to lack of promotion, and not covering sales, something that always happens, especially in Spain in the eighties
Audio remastered by Francisco Heredia, includes a fanzine with lyrics and photos of the time (reviewed by Felix Bustillo)
