Sadism burst onto the scene with their debut demo “Perditions of Souls” in 1989 and “From the Perpetual Dark” in 1991.
Drawing inspiration from the early days of American Death Metal, with clear influences from bands like Morbid Angel, Dark Angel, and Possessed, Sadism manages to
transcend conventional labels to forge their own essence in this historic release. What sets Sadism apart is the mastery with which they incorporate elements of South American
extreme metal from the era.
Although the influence is clear, the band manages to imbue each track with its own character, exploring different nuances and playing with the fusion of a more brutal Thrash

extreme metal scene.
