Sacred Steel are a German heavy/power/speed metal band formed in Ludwigsburg in 1996. Fronted by the distinctive voice of Gerrit P. Mutz, the band built its sound on proud, direct and old-school metal, rooted in European true metal but sharpened by speed and thrash influences. After their debut Reborn in Steel, they released albums such as Wargods of Metal, Bloodlust, Slaughter Prophecy and Heavy Metal Sacrifice, always keeping a raw, epic and uncompromising identity. The band remains active and announced its tenth album, Ritual Supremacy, for 2025.
