Since forming in 2020, PUTRED has released several demos, splits, EPs, and two full-length albums. The band—featuring guitarist/founder Uriel Aguillon, vocalist Filip Garlonta, bassist Corina Elena, drummer Andrei "Ficus" Orha, and guitarist Denis Bucur—has been hard at work composing its third full-length album slated for an early 2026 release.
Taking its musical cues from early-era DEATH, NECROPHAGIA, ASPHYX, and GRAVE, among others, PUTRED meticulously combines mid-paced riffs with shards of haunting guitar melodies and prominent bass lines. The band's compositions are straightforward but well-crafted, with the right amount of old-school death metal elements that draw the listener in with dark, atmospheric dynamics.
