Prinzip's first live album is here! And what an album it is! At the end of 1978, the band played a concert in Kamenz and literally set the hall on fire. These recordings make it clear why Prinzip, despite the addition of keyboardist Rainer Kirchmann, was still considered the hardest live act in the GDR at the time. “Eile,” “Feuerrock,” and “Sieben Meter Seidenband” are top-notch heavy metal, “Flieg, flieg Engel” is a powerful ballad, “Supernummer” and “Müh dich fort” roll powerfully through the speakers, driven by Frank Czerny's bass playing, and “Weit ist die Straße” offers much more than just a hint of glam rock. In memory of Klaus Scharfschwerdt, the album features an excellent solo lasting several minutes by the drummer, who passed away in June 2022. It goes without saying that guitarist Jürgen Matkowitz also pulls out all the stops as a soloist. Finally, this vinyl rarity offers something never heard before with “Imprinzip.”
