After almost 20 years, NIGHTINGALE’s seventh album and prog/AOR masterpiece, “White Darkness”, is remastered by songwriter/frontman/producer Dan Swanö (Opeth, Katatonia, Oceans Of Slumber) and finally properly re-issued. Originally released in 2007, “White Darkness” effortlessly bridges '70s rock, AOR, prog and metal with a symphonic, yet extremely catchy overall approach, featuring stand-out tracks "The Fields of Life", "To My Inspiration", "Trial and Error" and the touching (yet revealing) piano-driven title track. The re-release of “White Darkness” is available as a Ltd. Digipak 2CD (With a total of 22 bonus tracks!) with O-card and also for the first time in the LP format, on very suitable white 180g vinyl (10 tracks). Studiously restored and renewed by Dan Swanö, NIGHTINGALE fans and collectors will surely celebrate this definitive Edition.
