Fusing the classic Bay Area thrash sound with the unrelenting aggression of German and British thrash, NECKBREAKER delivers a sonic assault that’s both traditional and brutally modern.
Formed in 2011 by drummer Daniel Inostroza , NECKBREAKER underwent lineup changes and rebirths, ultimately solidifying their current, most lethal incarnation in 2016. Following a string of demos and their well-received 2017 EP Too Big To Fail , the band has shared stages with some of the heaviest hitters in the scene, including Violator, Dekapited, Inquisicion, Massive Power , and Dangerous .
Mental Void represents the band at their apex: raw, fast, and merciless. The album tackles an array of intense themes, from the dark crimes of Chile’s military dictatorship and the manipulations of global elites to introspective examinations of false heroes feeding their own egos. Every riff, every drum hit, every scream is designed to strike with precision and leave no listener unshaken.
