BMG, CD
in 1976, one year after the band was founded, Motörhead's groundbreaking line-up was established. The "Three Amigos" era of Motörhead - Lemmy (bass/vocals), Fast Eddie Clarke (guitar) and Phil "Philthy Animal" Taylor - joined forces and began their extraordinary journey to the top of the hard rock elite.
In August 1976, the band met at Emerson, Lake & Palmer's legendary Manticore Studio in Fulham to rehearse and unveil the new line-up. It was there that they recorded together for the first time. 49 years later, the long-lost tape was discovered, dusted off and restored in all its glory to celebrate the band's 50th anniversary.
Available as a classic black 1-LP, CD and deluxe 2-LP bookpack. All formats include additional alternate takes and instrumental tracks for a unique insight into the making of this legendary band.
In addition, the deluxe bookpack includes an extra bonus LP - the classic bonus "Live: Blitzkrieg on Birmingham '77" as well as a bonus 7-inch disc with two previously unreleased live tracks from Barbarella's Birmingham 1977. There's also a 24-page booklet with liner notes by long-time collaborator Kris Needs.
