Morpheus was formed in Stockholm in 1990 by the current Necrophobic guitars players Sebastian (in Necrophobic from1996 till present) and Johan (2001 – present). The Stockholm youngsters recorded one demo in 1990 (as Exhumed) one mini album ‘in The Arms of..,.” and a full length before all members went on in more known Swedish death metal bands. And still are. For example: Sebastian Ramstedt (In Aphelion, Necrophobic, ex-Black Trip, ex-Nifelheim and Johan Bergebäck, (In Aphelion Necrophobic, ex-Dismember, ex-Amon Amarth (live), ex-Nifelheim). Drummer Markus Ruden was original member of Carbonized).
Recorded at Studio Sunlight with Thomas Skogsberg (Entombed, Dismember, Grave). Extensive liner notes by Chris Dick (Decibel Magazine). Many old and rare posters and drawings! This re-issue of ‘In the Arms of featured also the cult Exhumed demo where it all started for these ambitious young Swedish musicians.
