Actually, a stadium tour through the USA was planned for Led Zeppelin. But then Robert Plant and his wife were involved in a serious traffic accident in Rhodes in the summer. Robert Plant's broken ankle was the reason to cancel the tour. At very short notice, it was decided to start recording the seventh album. Robert Plant spent most of his time in the studio sitting in a wheelchair. For connoisseurs, "Presence," originally released in 1976, is one of the great milestones in Led Zeppelin's oeuvre.
