The Grammy award-winning group, founded in Oakland/California in 1998, is celebrating its 25th anniversary with its ninth studio album. It is the first new album since "Electric Messiah" (2018).
High On Fire are considered one of the strongest acts on the music scene today, creating dynamic metal that combines primal fury and aggression, hesitant bombast and glorious heaviness. The group consists of vocalist and cult guitar hero Matt Pike (also a founding member of the famous underground band Sleep), the unique bassist Jeff Matz and power drummer Coady Willis.
High On Fire's most recent studio album "Electric Messiah" won a Grammy in the "Best Metal Performance" category.
