HELLS HEADBANGERS is proud to reissue the cult-classic second album of the UK's DESECRATION, Murder in Mind, on CD and vinyl LP formats. Hailing from Wales, DESECRATION have been flying the flag for foul, all-caps DEATH METAL for over 30 years now. While their 1996 debut album, Gore & Perversion, is arguably their most pivotal record - not to mention most controversial, with HELLS HEADBANGERS recently issuing the album on vinyl for the first time ever with its full uncensored cover artwork - DESECRATION's second album, 1998's Murder in Mind, is perhaps the fullest display of their timeless powers. Not for nothing did HELLS HEADBANGERS release the album on vinyl in 2004! A perfect snapshot of DESECRATION's untrendiness, Murder in Mind brutally blasts and slams with utterly pulverizing conviction. While their grindcore-leaning death metal was (proudly!) not in step with the times, the quartet continued to fight the good fight, and delivered a dizzying-yet-crushing 32 minutes that handily challenged the likes of Holland's Sinister and Sweden's Deranged. Of especial note is that founding vocalist / guitarist / sometimes-bassist Ollie Jones here handles drums in addition to vocals, which adds even more urgency to their dependable attack. In fact, DESECRATION here hypothetically sound like Utopia Banished-era Napalm Death had they continued in that direction during the '90s instead of streamlining and cleaning up. Murder in Mind is most unclean! The second installment of HELLS HEADBANGERS' DESECRATION reissue campaign, Murder in Mind will be available on two picture-disc editions, one with the original 1998 cover and the other with the 2004 Albert Fish cover; regular black and doublemint green/red spinner vinyl w/ white splatter, both with the original cover; and on CD, with the Albert Fish cover for the first time ever. All editions will include 1993's Mangled Remains demo as bonus tracks...murder will definitely be in mind!
