From the acclaimed "Luck and Strange Tour", the concert filmed at the Circus Maximus in Rome, plus an audio concert with tracks from the tour, additional behind-the-scenes documentation, footage from the tour rehearsals and music videos. Film directed by Gavin Elder. Soundtrack and concert sound produced by Charlie Andrew and David Gilmour.
The tour accompanied Gilmour's fifth solo album "Luck And Strange", which reached #1 in the UK, Germany (his first #1 there), Poland, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, Switzerland, Portugal and Austria.
The shows began with two sold-out warm-up shows at the Brighton Centre before moving to Rome's Circus Maximus for six sold-out nights, followed by the same number at London's Royal Albert Hall, before moving to the US for sold-out nights at the Intuit Dome and the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles and ending with five sold-out nights at Madison Square Garden in New York.
All twenty-three dates were sold out, and with no new shows on the horizon, "Live At The Circus Maximus, Rome" is the best and only way to see the master of his art on stage.
